Ostara Calling
08:35
|

In the dark of winter
I got the deepest chill
Having been torn asunder
With still a void to fill
The night bequeathed me
An aura of static
I beheld the night sky
Mentally erratic
I felt the deepest darkness
I felt I was falling forever
But just then through the twilight
I heard Ostara calling
Almost to the bottom of the pit I was
Blind, deaf, obsessed and hungry
I abandon the resolute grimness
For the goddess of dawn is upon me
My mind is
Poison free
By the blessing of Satan
Now I can see

Veil Of Oblivion
10:07
|
|||
It's so cold in here
Though I can't see you
I know you're near
Blissful dreams
Of unending fear
What's come over me?
I wish it was just a dream
But I wish in pointless things
A dream of broken meaning
Did you know, is still a dream?
Watch all the flowers die
Where the corpses rise again
Reach into thine own heart
Pierce the veil of oblivion
I tried to tell you my truth
And I know I told it well
Here I am, living proof
That you can walk through hell
My eyes see scattered light
They see all demons in men
You mustve known that I died
Way back when
I know it's not a dream
This is my fate
Pull the thread from the seam
And let it pour out again
Watch it spill and fall
Watch it twist and turn
Watch it writhe in pain
Watch it bleed and burn
My body my body
Once alive
My thoughts my feelings
Were once a mind
My fingers my aching hands
Once could hold
My tongue my mouth
Stories were told
A life once lived by a single poor soul
Who died too young before he was old
His mind was famished of forgotten light
Now but a grave on a foggy hill lost to the night
The misty burial mound that nobody visits
With weathered old stones that sleep within it
Macabre business forever unfinished
A ghastly ghost who lived for what seemed like only a minute
Spectral Hounds tear at men like mice
A Portent of death, bones be cursed thrice
But even brave men must think twice
When voices weave through wind and ice
